I'm posting a couple of my all-time favorite wedding images. These are from a wedding I just did in December! I love the fact that they transcend the couple and become more universally appealing. I'd love to hear what you think?

Here are a few images from a recent session I did for the Phillips family. We are connected with this family in a couple of different ways. I met Tia (mom) at the Common Ground MOPS group. It turns out that our daughters are in the same preschool class as well.

Everytime I would see Tia at the school she would mention how she wanted me to take family photos for them. Her husband, T. Ray, also needed images for a business brochure. So, we decided to combine the two sessions and spent a Sunday afternoon taking pictures at their house. The results were amazing...in my humble opinion.

I've gone bananos!

I'm crazy for the new Ipod Nano. Look at how cute this little guy is! I had a first generation Ipod Photo...the original size (bought it for like $500) and never used it. I'm exited about the size of the new Nanos. What you can't see from the picture is how thin it is! Can't wait to wear it on my arm while working out. Just thought I'd let you know what's going on with me this weekend. Besides, hangin out with David and the kids all day...I have been obessively checking ebay and craigslist to find a deal on one.

Here are a few images from a recent engagement session. I will be photographing Sharron & DJ's wedding in March. They live in an amazing home in The Village of West Clay. I had so much following them around their house and then eventually outside around the neighborhood. Who would have thought we could do outdoor portraits in January! Look for more pictures of Sharron, DJ & Frank to come.

Mary, Mary Quite Contrary

I just wanted to share a funny story about my 3 year old daughter Mary. I overheard a conversation between her and her father the other night that had me laughing out load.

Mary was telling her little brother to stop doing something and then David said, "Mary you are not the boss...mommy and daddy are". She started crying and came running to me to tell on him. She said, "Daddy hurt my feelings" (her favorite line these days). I asked her why and she said...."Because he said I'm not the boss!".

I comforted her with a hug and then mirrored back to her what she had just told me..."So, daddy hurt your feelings because he said you're not the boss?". "Yeah", she replied. I proceeded to tell her that her father was right. Then she cried again. I said, "Did you think you were the boss?". "YES", she answered.

This is funny to me because she genuinely thought that she was running the show and was truly hurt when she learned this was not true. This is just one example of the many things she does or says on a daily basis to amaze me.

Isaac Gabriel Nelson

Finally got my computer back up and running...thanks mom! Here are a few from my friend Christy's newborn shoot. Christy won the pregnant belly contest a few months ago. I just love her sweet little boy Isaac Gabriel...however, couldn't get the little stinker to sleep for us. Hopefully, he took a nice long nap for mommy after we were done. Hope you enjoy!

My Computer is Sick

My computer caught a bad virus! My mom was trying to download some software off Limewire and instead downloaded a virus. We ended up having to totally reformat my hardrive. I always back up my images on an external drive and make a back-up copy on disc...so, no files were lost. But, I have been without my computer for a week now. I apologize for running behind on posting sneak peeks and getting galleries up. I should have my computer back tonight or tomorrow and will hopefully get caught up next week. Thanks for your patience.
